Calamus ornatus Blume
Stems clustered, 20 m long, 2 cm diameter. Sheaths smooth, green, with few spines; flagella well
developed; petioles 60 cm long; rachises 150 cm long; pinnae 14 per side of rachis, elliptic,
distantly but regularly arranged, the distal ones much reduced. Sterile plant.
