Parasitic on Acacia scattered along wash banks with Larrea.
Encelia & Atriplex. Suffrutescent, dioecious hemiparasite; stems
to 60 cm long, dull green to reddish, canescent on newer growth;
leaves scale-like, to 2 mm long; perianth parts 3, brownish-tan,
persistent on apex of fruit; berry white to reddish-pink.
