17°39’07”S, 63°14’54”W. alt. 380 m.
Brushy areas, slightly rolling topography on sandy soil,
subtropical semi-deciduous woodlands, now much in cattle
pastures. With Trichilia stellatotomentosa, Miconia
molybdea, Casearia aculeata, Bredemeyera floribunda.
Shrublet 1 m. tall. Corolla white; anthers yellow. Some
others seen on disturbed roadside soil here were senescent,
with bright orange fruit.
