Habitat
Small patch of forest along stream, in an area where all the forest has been cut down and turned into pastures. At this time very dry, all plants wilted after many days without rain. Abundant, in some places dominant.

Description
Growing in clumps, about .70-1 m tall. Roots very thick and strong, Raddia type. Inflorescences terminal to the culm and from 1-2 nodes below. Most inflorescences past flowering. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
