Coastal forest on white sand.

Description
Small clustering palm. Stems to 4 m tall, ca. 3 cm. diam., tending to be black; internodes ca. 15 cm near the base, 40 cm, green with white waz. Leaves arcuate, ca. 2 m long, petiole 20 cm; leaflets very regular, strongly curved, ca. 40 on each side. Inflorescence in bud. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
