Aecidium preceding or mixed with the teleuto- spores, crowded in clusters of 5-20; peridia cylindrical with minute- ly fringed border; spores yellow, smooth, irregular in shape with several large vacuoles. “II. Stylospores. Pale brown, globose rough. “III. Teleutospores. Sori oblong, arranged in concentric el- lipses; spores obovate, or oblong; epispore yellowish brown, thick- ened above; pedicel 3-4 times as long as the spores, /i 27-38x26.” J. B. Ellis and H. W.
