Euphorbiaceae Sebastiania
Depto. Santa Cruz, Prov. Ibanez, 12 km (straight line) W
of center of La Belgica, along Rio Cuchi.
17°33’32”S, 63°20’23”W. alt. 340 m.
The Rio Cuchi now a small now-flowing stream on wide,
shallow sandy bed, with many Cyperaceae, Andropogoneae,
and with cerrado woodland (Combretum leprosum) on
sandy soil above the floodplain on both sides.
Common “shrublets” 0.8 m. tall in dry sandy grassland
above the floodplain. All here seem to be pilose.
