Cerro Mariposa (= Cerro Arizona) about 2 km past the
Escuela Agricola. Elev. 850m. Succulent-stemmed shrub
to 1m. Leaves to ca. 50cm long x 30cm wide.
Hypanthium and calyx bright red; petals pink; stamens
white; ovary inferior, 5-loculate. Fruit red. Uncommon.
