W-facing, open, steep, pink-reddish and gray gypseous soil, with Yucca torreyi, Dasylirion, Haploesthes, Rhus microphylla, Nicotiana trigonophylla, Stipa curvifolia, Allionia incamata, Echinocereus fendleri var. fendleri, Cevallia sinuata, Thelysperma megapotamicum, Fallugia paradoxa, Gaillardia multiceps, Selinocarpus, Nerisyrenia. Only a single plant noted; petals greenish; hoods dull maroon at base, the appendage whitish, blushed dirty-maroon along center longitudinal fold. Distributed from NMC to: NMC, NY
