Rhexia mariana L.
In one-year fallow field on south side of Deal
Creek; on alluvial terrace. Site #26 (Lat.
34°10,50"; Long. 82°42,00"), about 3 miles south-
west of town of Lowndesville, S.C., and about 1.5
miles east of the Savannah River. Area to be
impounded in the mid-1980's to form Russell Lake
(full pool, the 475-ft contour).
