Sandy, gravelly loam soil, flat. Annual herbs, many plants, dominant with Chenopodium album, in planting of perennial lilies and thus not cut back while they are still green, with other weeds such as Conyza canadensis, Daucus carota, Digitaria sanguinalis. To 1.6 m. tall; spikes pink, nearly erect to arching-nodding. Coll.: M. Nee 59420 24 Aug. 2012
