Lat.: 49°29’57”N; Long.: 123°14’49”W (WGS84 Datum). Elev. 225 ft. Ledges of W-facing igneous rock outcrop with Pseudotsuaa. Holodiscus, Gaultheria & Paxistima. Rhizomes ascending, short- creeping, ca. 10 mm in diameter; rhizome scales bicolored; leaves tufted, strongly dimorphic, persistent through winter, the petioles straw-colored or greenish; sterile blades + leathery & opaque, 2- to 3-pinnate, the ultimate segments toothed; hydathodes often sunken in unpressed material; spores well-formed.
