Shrubs up to m tall, stems up to 6 cm thick, smooth
grey, with £ prominent scars of stipules and leaves
main veins of the leaves yellowish; figs green to
pale yellow, slightly scabrous, mostly solitary
sometimes in pairs, mature ones below the leaves.
Hab.: Togo: near !makpav£, 1° 11' E, 6 45' N, along
small river.
