Hwy. 541 and about 5 mi. by road E of
Hwy. 940 r on rolling limestone mountain
top; elev. 8000 ft.
With general vegetation: Deschampsia,
Poa rupicola, Potentilla, Solidagof
Carex, Silene acaulis, Castilleja
rhexifolia, Dryas, treeless except for
krumholtz spruce on lee slope.
In thick mossy mat of ephemeral boggy
area where water collects on gentle w
slope. Specifically with Carex,
Senecio, dwarf willow.
