Mat-forming, non-stoloniferous, herbaceous perennials; leaves entire, with minute cilia but otherwise glabrous; flowering stems with small, seta-tippedBiear- lanceolate leaves; petals without an obvious claw, to 7 mm long, white with yellow spots proximally and purplish-red spots distally.
