Very disturbed forest. On patch of aggregated individuals found.

Description
Treelets unbranched to 1.5 m tall; leaves clustered toward apex of stem; inflorescence borne at base of stem; calyx green to dark red; corolla pink on lobes without in bud, white in flower; staminodes white, 2 anthers yellow; one old fruit found; most individuals were at the beginning of their flowering; inflorescence pseudospicate, i.e. lateral sessile clusters of 1-3 flowers in a cyme. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
