hecatare lake surrounded by floating mats dominated by an intermediate fen
community: Sphagnum centrale, S. angusttnfolium, Carex lasioccirpa,
Vaccinium oxycoccos. Floating mats surrounded by extensive shrub dominate«
by S. centrale. Spiraea douglasii, Betula glandulosa, V. oxycoccos, Kalmia
microphylla. North of the lake is a paludified forests characterized by Pirns
contorta, P. monticola, Lycopodium spp., and S. centrale. Abundance: few,
scattered on floating mat, flowers white.
