Open Pinus monophylla community; associated species - Artrwy, Ephedra viridis, Garyia spinosa, Prunus andersonii, Symphoricarpos longiflorus, Atriplex confertifolia, Oryzopsis hymenoides, Stipa comata. Infrequent. Metamorphic rock (limestone).
