In open woods under large oaks; on bluff overlooking
the Savannah River. Site #2 (Lat. 34°03l58"; Long.
82°38,10"), about 0.5 mile south of the S. C. 72
bridge over the Savannah River. Below the 475-ft.
contour (full pool for proposed Russell Lake;
impoundment of the Savannah River scheduled for
the mid-1980's).
