sprawling shrub to 0.5 m tall x l.s m wide, leaves smaller than typical P.
setosum, but still scabrous; corollas (jeep re(j wjth yellow lower lip; stiff
bristly pubescence covring ‘"^^escences painful to touch and taste like
asprin; sympatric with Petall um cf. variabile (Tripp #4111)
