Shrubby pandan 3 m high, multiple erect stems 5-6 cm diam.^mall basal
prop roots. Leaves clustered distally, medium green, glossy above, arching,
sheath pink-orange. Male inflorescences terminal on axillary shoots, bracts
pale green. Cultivated, seed from Airai, Palau (DL 8202). NTBG 98179.001
