  • Description

    Tree 5 m tall x 20 cm diam. Thick, fissured, fire-resistent bark. Thick living bark tissue is blood-red with a red sap which rubs off on fingers. Slight flow of milky latex in trunk and twigs. Sterile; small single seeded fruits (0.75 cm x 0.60 cm, almost spherical) found on ground. Phenology of specimen: Fruits from ground only.
