  • Description

    Scattered. Pileus 6-8 cm broad, convex to plano-convex, dry to moist, finely corrugate to subrugulose, with superficial white patches (a veil?), brick red to reddish brown (7E6) to cinnamon brown (6D6), with a slightly projecting sterile margin. Flesh white, unchanging, 10-13 mm thick, with mild odor and taste. Hymenophore tubulose; tubes mustard to olive yellow (3C6), unchanging; pores concolorous, unchanging. Stipe 7-9.5 cm long, 13-16 mm broad, subclavate and pinched at the base, dry, finely subpruinose on a light yellow ground, developing some pinkish tinges white at base, with interior solid, white and unchanging. Phenology of specimen: Basidiomata.
