Short forest and "cerrado" alternating on nearly level terrain over precambrian shield; most tree less than 12 m. tall. With Scheelea and Orbignya palms.

Plant orange-green, shrublet 5 dm. tall, many stems from swelling on branch of large shrub. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
