M. 1626 bridge over Bear Creek, on Edwards 82 Tract (a Prop 2 tract). Signal Hill Quadrangle. 30°09'38"N, 97°52'31"W. Elev. 800 ft Grassland dominated by Bothriochloa ischaemum, Bouteloua rigidiseta, Buchloe dactyloides, Hilaria belangeri. Native midgrasses scarce, but forbs abundant: Allium drummondii, Bouchetia erecta, Coelorachis cylindrica, Gaillardia pulchella, Galium virgatum, Hedeoma acinoides, H. Hspidum, Krameria lanceolata, Krigja gracilis, Linum hudsonioides, Plantago patagónica, Richardia txicocca, Rudbeckia hirta, Sedum nuttallianum, Valerianella radiata, etc. W. R.
