Description
No. 515 (already sent in) a variety. The large one Dec. 16 and the small one Nov. 20. This species varies greatly in the form and pubescence of the leaves, size of flowers and habit; it may be a low compact shrub or sub-scandent to 6 to 7 ft. The rough stem and curved, stiff hairs on the veins seem to be constant characters. Generally there are little tufts of fine hairs in the axils of the veins. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
