In calcareous volcanic soil on S-facing slope with Acacia. Yucca &
Qpuntia. Stems cobwebby below, glandular above; calyx sparsely
cobwebby, usually eglandular at anthesis; corolla with long,
whitish or purplish (sometimes striped) tube, yellow throat, and
purple lobes. Elev. 3350 ft.
