Habitat: Chaparral/ Oak-evergreen woodland transition riparian area;
rocky/sandy creekbed with evidence of high flow events
Assoc, spp: Platanus wrightii, Salix laevigata, Populus tremuloides,
Tamarix ramosissima, Juniperus deppeana, Silene antirrhina, Lamium,
Geranium carolinianum, Bromus rubens, Prosopis velutina
Notes: Small annual; flowers yellow, reddish at base.
