of Mt.Roraima. Seasonally dried up boulder-
strewn gravel area where a loop of the Waruma
river rejoins the main course. The Waruma is
a tributary of the Kako & Mazaruni rivers.

Some 50ft. from nearest piece of riverine
rain forest, the predominant vegetation of
the area.
