Slender tree, c. 12 m tall. DBH: 12 cm. Inner bark exuding a
colourless slime. Leaves thinly coriaceous, medium green,
glossy above, beneath paler green, dull, with numerous minute
translucent dots.
Fruits red, ellipsoid, glossy. Fruitskin ca. 1.5 mm thick, brittle
with a pleasant odour. Embryo creamy.
