At edge of standing water; on floodplain of Savannah
River; area recently clear-cut. Site #10 (Lat.
34°03f45"; Long. 82°38f30"), ca. 0.5 mile south of
the Ga. 72 bridge over the Savannah River. Below
the 475-ft. contour (full pool for proposed
Russell Lake). Area to be impounded in mid-1980fs
by U. S. Army Corps of Engineers.
