LOS ANGELES CO.: Along the Green Valley Road at the
mouth of Spunky Creek just north of Bouquet Reservoir, 1.7
mile west of the Bouquet Canyon Road between Palmdale and
Saugus, on steep limestone slopes above Spunky Creek, asso-
ciated with Quercus, Yucca and Eriogonum at about 3100 feet
elevation.
Low shrubs 1-3 dm high; flowers pale orange.
