Subalpine spruce zone at around 7250
ft. elev. Open 30% E-facing slope, in
open park.
With dominants: Salix (prostrate), is
Phyllodoce empetriformis, P. glanduli- j
fera, Pedicularis bracteosa, Picea j
(seedlings and young trees), Castilleja I
rhexifolia, Antennaria lanata, Vaccinium
myrtillus and Luzula spp.
On open dirt banks and on abandoned '
road.
