WASHINGTON; Pend Oreille Co., 6 miles west of
Blueslide on Ruby Creek Rd. (Forest Service Rd.
#627; Co. Rd. #2489) in Colville National Forest,
SW 1/4 of NW 1/4 Section 7 T.35N R.43E; 45% slope,
southern exposure, decomposed granite-sandy; south
facing slope in open Pseudotsuga/Arctostaphylos/
Vaccinium community; common with Vaccinium
scoparium, Pachistima myrsinites, Pinus contorta,
Festuca idahoensis, Amelanchier alnifolia and
Arctostaphylos uva-ursi; white flowers growing in
clumps; height 1-2 decimeters.
