Brassicaceae Streptanthella longirostris (S .Watson) Rydberg MOJAVE DESERT: ca 0.85 mi W of Three Sisters & 1.2 mi S of Black Butte. Bladed road heading N from Black Butte Basin Road x Avenue TJ' [not on 1968 topo], running northward to the W of BBB Rd for about 1.2 miles, then rejoining it NW of Three Sisters [buttes]. El Mirage USGS 7.5' Quadrangle; T5N R8W, SW/4 SW/4 NE/4 section 9. Elevation ca 3100-3110 feet Open desert dominated by Larrea tridentata with scattered Yucca brevifolia. Substrate a very fine sand (almost blow-sand). Locally scattered annual; flowers pale, dull yellow. Timothy S. Ross 4692 27 April 1991 03232441
