Atoyac road via Puerto del Gallo, about 40.5 miles
southwest of Mexico Highway 95, 9 miles southwest of
Filo de Caballo and 4.3 miles southwest of Carrazal
del Bravo, in wooded forests south of the road,
associated with Quercus and Pinus at about 9000
feet elevation.
Tall shrub to 3 m high; fruits bluish.
