soil loose pebbles of granitic origin.
Open community of Pinus ponderosa, Pseudotsuga
menziesii, Penstemon humilis, and Spiraea betuli-
folia. Population of this species also found
ca 3/4 mi further w on west-facing slope with
same basic community.
