United States of America. Idaho. Madison Co. Targhee National Forest, Big Hole Mountains, south of Packsaddle Basin on NF-219 Radio Relay road. Collected below summit on east side of ridge. Ridge ½ mile south east of radio towers.

Relative moist meadow. Over exposed rocks along ridge, from branching roots about 1-1.5cm in diameter. With Artemisia tridentata ssp. vaseyana / Symphoricarpos oreophilus / Agropyron spicatum.
