Approximately 50 km. from Puyo. Wet area with some felled trees close to Primary forest. Recently opened area. Shrub, compact, ca. 1 m. high. Lvs. mid-dark green above, green (light) with brownish venation beneath. Berries very deep red, ca. 1 cm. across. Gail L. Sobel and Jeremy Strudwick 9th July 1980.
