Portal, AZ; in a canyon 1 1/2 ai NNW of Southwestern Research
Station (US Huseua of Natural History), 1/4 ai H of the
creek's intersection with the road to Onion Saddle; 8 of
Silver Peak; (extrene SE corner T17S R30E); N-side of creek,
in a flat,dry area; about 200 plants seen in a la by 2a area;
corolla white, with a 60-degree spread of corolla-lobes;
elevation 6400 ft.
Associated flora: Buercus gaabelii, 6. hypoleucoides, Juniperus
aonosperaa, J. deppeana, Acer grandidentatua, Pinus chihua-
huana, Douglas fir, Panicua bulbosua, Desaodiu® spp. and
herbs
