NEW YORK BOTANICAL GARDEN 03163370 Herbarium op The New York Botanical Garden Afeirm **oc *~PowA. /(Ituwu^vu, * W'M.ly Q.iAatò) v Cerastium indet. NOT C. velutinum var. villossissimum (calyx wrong, capsule too small) They may be an unusual form of C. tomentosum (not C. biebersteinii because capsule teeth not flat) Almost certainly a garden escape. An attempt by Joan Venn and myself to find the plant in 2003 failed. J.K. Morton 2004 LOCAL HERBARIUM OF THE • JjDRREY BOTANiCAL CLUBv DcP0SITED IN 1S73 AT -ur NEW YORK BCTAÎi;CAL GARDEN 03163370
