Canyon, draining toward the latter; T2N R8W, SW/4
NW/4 NW/4 section 34; elevation ca. 4320-4360 feet.
Herbaceous perennial from a rhizomatous root
system, forming a dense local colony at roadside; stems
erect; flowers fragrant; petals white, spatulate; sihcles 2-
seeded, persistent; locally common on N edge of road, but
not seen elsewhere in vicinity.
