vegetation in seasonally moist alluvial clay or silt in slight
depressions on occasionally flood-scoured Salmon Peak
Limestone bedrock exposed on floodplain of perennial
stream, E side of valley of Devils River 500-1000 ft. SW to
SSW of TPWD bunkhouse, between mouths of Satan and
Little Satan canyons, ca. 9 airmiles NW of jet. US Rt. 277
and road to Rough Canyon Recreation Area, at
N29°40’09.3”, W100°59’54.5”. Elev. 1120-1140 ft. SWpart
of Devils River State Natural Area Southern Unit.
