tawny; rare in herbaceous vegetation in formerly cultivated
field on soils mapped as Edna fine sandy loam and Bemard-
Edna complex, on level coastal prairie landscape underlain
by Beaumont Formation, Com Whiskey Unit adjacent to
SW comer of Nash Prairie hay meadow, ca. 0.5-0.6 airmiles
W of Co. Rd. 25 from a point ca. 0.2-0.3 roadmiles S of its
jet. with Co. Rd. 255, ca. 10 mi N of East Columbia, at
N29°15’02.6”, W095°36’27.3”. Otey Quadrangle. Elev. 40-
45 ft.
Associates included Eryngium yuccifolium, Galactia longifolia, Gaura
sp., Helianthus angustifolius, Neptunia lutea, Panicum coloratum,
P asp alum plicatulum, Paspalum urvillei, Passiflora incamata, Rudbeckia
hirta.
