Associates included Cyperus 31713, C. acuminatus, C. strigosus,
Bulbostylis capillaris, Sesbania macrocarpa, Typha domingensis, Salix
nigra seedlings, Helianthus maximiliani (introduced in seed balls?),
Digitaria sp., Juncus difFusissimus, Ludwigia cf. palustris, Sorghastrum
nutans.
BASTROP CO.: common in sparse vegetation on flat of
sandy-clayey alluvium eroded from burned loblolly pine
forest on steep gravelly slopes underlain by Carrizo Sand, in
small valley on S side of Park Road 1-A, ca. 1.5 airmiles
ESE of jet. St. Rt. 21 and St. Rt. 95 in Bastrop, at
N30°06.300’, W097°16.922\ Bastrop State Park. Bastrop
Quadrangle. Elev. 480 ft. Area burned during Bastrop
Complex Wildfire of September 2011.
