    A glabrous epiphytic shrub, growing amongst the tangled branches of trees which lean over the water. Bark corky. Flowers in short fasicled racemes on the old wood, from just above the axils of fallen leaves. Corolla cream with red flush, and dark crimson zigzag lines. Stamens 10,with long slit-like anthers running up to the apex. These appear to be open - and empty - even in the buds.
