PLANTS OF CALIFORNIA DISTRIBUTED BY THE HERBARIUM OF THE UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, BERKELEY, 250. Eriogomrm Wrightii Torr. Syn. Eriogonvm trachygonum Torr. Mt. Hamilton, in the Coast Ranges of Santa Clara County, Upper Sonoran Zone, at an altitude of 1280 m. Growing among granitic rocks in clay on the northerly slope of Copernicus Peak. Perianth-segments very obtuse, dull white or rose-pink, usually dull white and with a mid-vein of green or crimson; all color-forms may occur on a single plant, but individual plants have a tendency towards one color. Stamens 8 or 9; fila- ments all hirsute at base; anthers rose-pink. Ovaries white or rose-pink. Collected by H. M. Hall (no. 9895), October 9, 1914. NEW YORK BOTANICAL GARDEN 03149913 03149913
