José-Puntarenas Province border, ca. 10 km E of Dominical. Just N of
Fila Alivio in upper Río Barucito basin, a southern tributary of Rio
Barú.
Epiphytic shrub at 3 m; fruiting calyx orangish, petals pink. Mixed
terrain of humid creek beds between mostly pasture and secondary
forest.
