    Mixed with no. 226 but much less abundant. Chiefly along the bank.

  • Description

    Height 12-18 ft. Stems smooth, yellow, red, or green. It does not form such obvious clumps as no. 226, more evenly spaced. Ground beneath covered with a fine carpet of moss in which many attain 20-25 feet. Leaf sheaths pubescent on the outside.
