CUSTER CO: East slope Lost River Range,
Challis National Forest, vie. Doublespring
Pass. Alpine ridge along SW side of Buck
Creek drainage, ele 9,900 ft. Common on
brownish quartzitic rock with Erigeron tweedyi
and Astragalus terminalis with Polemonium
viscosum. Some plants apparently without
yellow rays.
